Acct & Reference Data Manager

Job description

The individual will be responsible for managing the team and the process for the Public Sector building and maintenance of lockbox Customer transmissions and customization. The individual will be working directly with Project Managers, Technical Implementations, RIT, Operations and Product in transmission builds, gathering requirements, testing and promotion into Remittance Edge, Receivables Edge and/or Perceptive Intelligence Capture. The team is required to update and document projects assigned, client reported issues, and operation reported issues. Must be flexible; job responsibilities may change on short notice based on the needs of the group and the lockbox client base. Job skill training will be provided to the individual as needed. This is a highly visible position in a time-sensitive and delivery-sensitive environment.

This full time position is Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility on start and end time. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for managing a technical team of 4 to 6 individuals responsible for Public Sector customer profile and transmission builds on Remittance Edge and Receivables Edge including customization
· Ability to manage and follow complex methods and procedures in diverse routine and non-routine tasks
· Troubleshooting and problem resolution based on gaps identified between functionality and new system and/or client requirements
· Participating in conference calls with Technical Implementations, clients, UAT, RIT, product and project managers
· Meeting deadlines as dictated by SLA's and release schedules
· Some travel and off hours support may be required

Desired profile

·  Minimum 3 years supervisory/management experience, preferably in a Lockbox production environment or other bank operations environment is recommended
·  Ability to lead, direct, and be visible and accessible to staff
·  PC/Workstation usage skills in a Windows environment are required.
·  Due to the technical nature of customer setups technical skills/work experience equivalent is required.
·  A good understanding of Lockbox production processes is required.
·  Understanding of EPOS, Payconnexion, Consolidated Receivables and other Receivables Edge products a plus
·  Demonstrates professionalism and good judgment at all times
·  Acts with initiative and enthusiasm
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Must be articulate and comfortable facilitating a class or demonstration along with being able to document new processes
·  Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
·  Well organized and customer focused
·  Strong analytical and problem solving skills
·  Ability to escalate to management as needed
·  Overtime and weekend work attendance may be required with increasing frequency in the future because of the project requirements.

Preferred:

·  Computer Science degree or work equivalent experience
·  Lockbox production environment experience is a definite plus
