Job description

IT IS 3D is a micro company specialising in 3D technologies.
We give seminars, workshops, talks and training on 3D technologies, to education, industry and the general public.
We sell 3D printers, 3D printing pens, print material and a new robot arm.
We are looking for an intern to help us with 3D printing, but more importantly to take responsibility for our robot arm. For more information, look for Dobot (see our website www.itis3d.com).
We need help learning how to use it, how to demonstrate all its functions, and indeed to design and develop additional functionality.
As well as working in the workshop, the intern will help with training and demonstrations.
Please note that as a micro company, we are not in a position to offer a paid internship.

Desired profile

Although we are not looking for any specific qualifications, it is likely that the candidate will have an engineering degree. Experience and expertise are more important than qualifications. Robotics and programming of robots - understanding and experience are most important. We can teach the 3D printing and 3D scanning side of things, but an interest in that technology would be important.
