Summary
Performs Failure Analysis on equipment.

Responsibilities

·  In addition, perform the role of product owner when required.
·  Trains new members of the team according to the prescribed procedures.
·  Processes requests for component vendor analysis.
·  Understands all of the  documentation and procedures.
·  Collects, distributes and catalogues all pertinent online and technical documentation for their assigned products.
·  Serves as primary contributor to the quality and quantity of case disposition.
·  Requires excellent customer service skills as they will be directly communicating with management and engineers.
·  The ability to write thorough, concise and accurate reports is critical to the success of iQor.
·  These reports can go directly to the customer and impact that relationship.
·  Supervises a team of Engineers and Techs on his assigned products.
·  Actively participates in our process improvement Initiative.
·  May travel for training or case investigation.
·  As such, this person will be representing iQor to our customers and requires a high level of business maturity.
·  Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

·  Attain expertise of MS Office products especially Excel.
·  Attain working knowledge of Test Scripts and their usage (Cor more or more and Unix).

Education Requirement
Technical certification in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related field.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to stand and walk or otherwise traverse in order to be accessible to the production floor for extended periods of time. The person in this position will be required to regularly exert at least 10 lbs. of force to push, pull or otherwise move objects and may be required to carry or lift objects up to 50 lbs. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and/or documents; viewing a computer terminal; and/or visual inspection of products or machinery. The person in this position may need to occasionally sit, type, climb stairs, bend, reach, kneel, or twist for minimal periods of time. The person in this position is required to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Employees should not attempt to lift, pull or push a load in excess of 50 lbs. without assistance. Care should always be taken when lifting, pushing or pulling in an awkward position.
