Responsibilities

·  This is an inbound customer service position, answering calls from client membersand providing detailed insurance related information.
·  Ability to use client systems/multiple internet sites at same time.
·  Gather data and provide member detailed information as well as properly document client systems.
·  Responsible for basic customer and team communication via e-mail,memos, voicemail,etc.
·  Responsible for best-demonstrate practices for productivity enhancements.
·  Must adhere to daily schedule.
·  Must be detail orientated/attention to detail. 
·  Other duteies as assigned.

Requirements

·  Previous Call Center or Customer Service experience required.  
·  Prior customer service experience required and experience with or knowledge of medical billing, medicare insurance policies, and terminology.
·  Must have excellent voice quality, present a professional demeanor and ability to maintain a helpful/knowledgeable tone on all calls handled.
·  Must show empathy and understanding when speaking with members.
·  Strong computer and system navigation skills required. Agents may work in a variety of systems in order to assist callers.
·  Excellent written communication skills required-grammar, punctuation, and correct sentence structure.
·  Working Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:30am-7:00pm, Fridays, 8am-5:00pm, Saturday, 8:30am-12:00pm.
·  Client training will be Monday - Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm

Education Requirement
High school diploma, G.E.D., Trade/Vocational School certificate or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to regularly speak and sit for extended periods of time.  The employee will be required to occasionally stand and walk or otherwise traverse in order to be accessible to the production floor. The person in this position will be required to exert at up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull or otherwise move objects and may be required to carry or lift objects up to 10 lbs. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and/or documents; and/or viewing a computer terminal. The person in this position may need to occasionally bend, reach, kneel, or twist for minimal periods of time. Employees should not attempt to lift, pull or push a load in excess of 50 lbs. without assistance. Care should always be taken when lifting, pushing or pulling in an awkward position.
