Peacebuilding Intern

Job description

Salary: £14,570 per annum, pro rata

Duration: 9 months, full time

Based: London

International Alert is one of the world’s leading peacebuilding organisations, with over 30 years of experience laying the foundations for peace. We are a global organisation with 17 overseas offices and more than 60% of our staff based overseas.

We are looking for a talented individual with strong research capabilities and an interest in the gender dynamics around violent extremism to support the development of our work in this area.

You will contribute to our understanding of gender perspectives in preventing violent extremism through desk based research; supporting the production of policy papers, content production and management of an internal online resource centre and general administrative duties.
