A superb opportunity for an accountant with an interest in tax to develop their career and skills in a very commercial, dynamic and fast paced environment. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their tax skills but also gain exposure to other group corporate functions such as M&A, Group control, Investor Relations and Financial Control. This position is responsible for assisting with the timely and accurate preparation of tax returns, working with external providers. The Tax Analyst will be responsible for data gathering processes, preparation of tax calculations, and tracking progress towards completion of the compliance plan.

Responsibility detail:

·  Supporting the EMEA tax manager on all tax matters for EMEA/APAC
·  Researching technical tax issues for key stakeholders
·  Opportunity to assist on M&A work and advising on ad hoc strategic planning opportunities
·  Assisting with quarterly US GAAP tax provision
·  Tax reconciliations
·  Raising tax payments, tax return filings, working with outside tax and accounting providers
·  Support indirect taxes- VAT, WHHT.
·  Ad hoc projects could include transfer pricing, support to US annual tax return, government claims, R&D tax claims
·  Assisting with statutory audits and government audits in various GEOs
