Software Quality Engineer at Intel Security/McAfee, you will be part of a highly motivated and talented Engineering Team, who is passionate to deliver the best quality and secure product to our customers within a committed timeline. You will ensure the best product quality by participating in design reviews, creating well defined test plans, executing manual tests and automate test cases. It is a unique and challenging role that calls for a strong passion for quality and technology, with excellent problem solving skills.ResponsibilitiesParticipating in Design Reviews and Code Inspections.Contribute to the overall test strategy with focus on customer centricity.Hands-on authoring of test cases and test code combined with test execution. Responsible for automating test cases for effective test coverage. Perform debugging and troubleshooting in variety of local and remote testing environments as well as in the field as required.Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software

Desired profile

Bachelor Degree in Computer science or related field.At least 2 - 5 years of experience in product quality assurance including code review, bug analysis, debugging and identifying automation opportunities.Strong knowledge on Windows internalsShould have excellent debugging & problem solving skills. Basic Knowledge in C++ programming a plusKnowledge in Python scripting a plusDemonstrated ability to work effectively both within a team and cross-group to drive identification and resolution of issues to ship under tight deadlines
