Roles & Responsibilities:

·  Manual end to end software testing
·  Maintaining backend environment
·  Debugging backend issues related to servers, database, accounts etc.
·  Support all Point Product teams running automation for any environment related issues.
·  Maintaining automation test servers
·  Syncing test servers with production as product releases go out and testing the validity of the infrastructure after every sync
·  Deploying builds to automation servers.
·  Debugging Deployment related issues.
·  Identify and run tests against updated core scripts before they are merged into stable.
·  Identify and run tests against framework fixes before they are distributed globally

Qualifications & Education:

·  Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline.
·  Minimum 2-3 years of experience as Software Quality Engineer
·  Good understanding with maintaining and debugging application and backend issues
·  Candidate must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills
·  Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
·  Candidate must be a strong team player
·  Candidate must be quality-conscious and fast learner and open to learning new technologies and working in new domains
·  Candidate must be proven to be self-motivated individual
·  Candidate must be high on initiative taking
·  Candidate must exhibit a can do attitude at all times
·  Experience with automation using scripting languages like Python, Powershell etc.
