McAfee is seeking talented software engineers with a passion to engineer and deliver high quality products to join our Consumer Platform team.

The platform caters to millions of customers ranging from home users, to OEMs. Responsible for quality assurance of various projects executed by the Platform team.

Candidate should have experience in designing test scenarios for high availability.

Candidate will also work with the team to develop tools or applications that reduce testing efforts of the team.

Responsibilities & Duties

• This position is critical in delivering high quality releases on time.

• Able to independently come up with test cases based on the analysis of functionality.

• Conduct functional testing in web, desktop, mobile and multi-platform application environment and Defect tracking

• Should be able to participate in testing reviews

• Review business requirements, technical specifications, and design documents, and provide feedback.

• Must have good understanding of debugging and troubleshooting.

• Should be strong on SQL queries and building, debugging of complex queries.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand functionality and create tests

• Responsible and accountable for deliverables and quality of product.

• Adhere to all quality standards from QA perspective.

• Handle projects independently when required.

• Develop application/tools that will help reduce manual testing efforts.

• Develop automation test scripts.

• Experience in creating and implementing test automations

• Working knowledge with UI testing frameworks(e.g.Selenium)

•Able to understand impact of code changes- both programmable and logical changes(nice to have)

Desired profile

Qualifications & Experience
• 2 to 5 years experience in web testing including web services and ecommerce domain• Bachelor's Degree in computer science engineering or related field• Proficient in identifying regression related scenarios for each cycle of testing• Should have good knowledge of SQL• Very good in testing techniques & methodologies• Good understanding of Test case and Test Plan preparation• Conversant with adequate exploratory testing knowledge
• Good written and verbal communications skills and must be a strong team player• Must have the passion to work with technology and complex systems• Proven track record of taking up initiatives within projects and successful delivery
