Intel's Connectivity Group seeks highly qualified software engineers to work on the architectural modeling of our next generation networking hardware. Your job will be to develop a simulation model of Intel Ethernet products based on their functional specifications. You will be a part of a small team of top software developers located in Poland and United States who will be working together with network architects, test engineers, and hardware designers from all around the world to make the vision a reality by integrating their designs and feedback into a well-crafted software model.

We are looking both for language gurus with multi-year programming experience as well as recent university graduates who are enthusiastic about the functional programming in Scala. The ideal candidates for our team can bring at least one item from each of the areas below, while being excited to learn about the others.

Programming Background:

·  Experience with Scala, Bluespec, or Haskell.
·  Experience with highly concurrent programming models such as communicating sequential processes, concurrent C++, Erlang, CUDA, or VHDL/Verilog.
·  In depth build system knowledge, in particular, building and maintaining executables that are derived from diverse source code languages.

Communications Skills:

·  Strong written and spoken English.
·  Ability to critically analyze and question English written specification documents and diagrams.

Academic Qualification:

·  Masters or PhD in computer science or electrical engineering.
·  Alternatively, Bachelors in computer science or electrical engineer, with two years of relevant professional experience.
