We are looking for an intern to join IT Infrastructure team.In this temporary position, you will work with IT professionals delivering critical services to Intel products development groups and participate in infrastructure deployment & maintenance, issues resolution and user requests fulfillment. It will give you multiple opportunities to learn and get hands on experience in administration of different hardware platforms, operating systems and large high availability computing environments.

Inside this Business Group

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Desired profile

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or similar field- Motivation to learn fast and apply new knowledge to get results

- Knowledge of computer Network concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

- Knowledge of computer Hardware and Operating Systems

- Solid communication skills, ability to work in team environment and independently

- Communicative level of English: verbal and written

Additional qualifications will be a plus:

- Practical/working experience in Windows and Linux OS administration

- Knowledge of scripting languages with ability to automate repeatable procedures
