The Processor Verification Engineer requires a breadth of disciplines and responsibilities in supporting processor implementations for the Intel Axxia Processor Engineering development team.
Responsibilities will include the front end development support of high-performance embedded processors and subsystems in deep submicron CMOS technologies (16nm, 10nm) through RTL development, synthesis and constraint development, design validation using test benches and customized test cases. This individual will support the productization of complex, multi-clock domain processor designs which are built using ARM IP.
The candidate for this position must possess strong technical pre-silicon verification/validation skills, and be able to coordinate multiple aspects of development while specifying design changes to fulfill the functional requirements of the design.
Responsibilities will be both individual and team-based with ability to work cross functionally across the organization.

Desired profile
Required:
- BSEE/MSEE with 3-10 years of strong experience in custom silicon RTL development or embedded processor development, subsystem development, pre-silicon verification of logic- Experienced with the use of Synopsys based verification tools, including the ability to customize and manage the design flow through the use of scripts and routines- This candidate should be comfortable working beyond the immediate team and reaching out to greater Intel for development and collaboration- Experienced in Verilog RTL development, RTL verification using Verilog and System Verilog, UVM/OVM based verification, integration of logic from multiple sources with a range of IP from custom-designed to 3rd party- Candidate should possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills and ability to work closely with other team members and demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly- UVM or OVM verification architecture definition C or ASM based coding skills
