Process/Equipment Engineer

Job description

In this position, you will be assigned to KM Factory Assembly Engineering Department, responsible for installation, qualification and maintenance of assigned modules or equipment, to support product or package startup and ramp. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Driving resolution and continuous improvement projects through Virtual Factories and Copy Exactly! to improve performance of equipment assigned, with respect to safety, quality, run-rate, availability, yield and cost
- Participating in development or evaluation of equipment and tooling to meet Module spec and high volume manufacturing needs
- Defining or improving process control systems related to module to prevent excursions
- Providing training and guidance to the technicians to improve their competency

Desired profile

- Engineering degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Robotics/Chemical Engineering
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good analytical skill and prefer hands on to equipment
- Good knowledge in mechanical design and knowledge in electrical circuitry is added advantages
- Technical knowledge in statistical process control, commonality analysis, design of experiment, failure modes/effects analysis, ISO quality management or PLC programming are added advantages.
