By choosing this internship subject you'll be able to build up a consistent knowledge about modem ICs (Baseband products) and Connectivity (WiFi, Bluetooth, GNSS) of integrated circuits and SoCs in Application Engineering team. You will learn to perform both manual and automated tests, implement automated tests with State-of-The-Art measurement instruments. Your daily tasks will include (but not be limited to):

·  Analyse production failures or field returns from customers (Chip debugging / Protocol trace analysis / Create technical reports)
·  Perform manual and automated tests (set up the test benches, run the tests, analyze the results)
·  Develop test routines for memory interface (LPDDRx)
·  Hardware (HW) related activities (soldering, board modifications)
·  Prepare product shows
·  Develop documentation and tools for customer evaluation kit

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  You are an undergraduate student enrolled in electronics/telecommunications (Bsc./Msc.) studies - 6 semesters completed
·  You are self-motivated and have a strong and proven interest in analog, digital and RF electronics
·  You speak fluently English (and German would be an advantage)
·  You like working in a laboratory and appreciate the opportunity to start your professional carrier within Intel
·  You enjoy the company of a small dynamic engineering team
·  You have experience in handling of measurement instruments (e.g. oscilloscope, signal generator, multi-meter)
·  You have programming skills (i.e. C/C++, Matlab/Labview, scripting languages)
·  Basic knowledge in analog/digital design required
·  Microcontroller knowledge is an advantage
·  You're proficiently using MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
