Hardware HW team in Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group NSG division of Intel Corporation is looking for a HW engineer. Hardware HW engineers design and develop Solid State Drive SSD products that includes researching components, circuit design, simulations, schematic capture, component placement & routing on printed circuit boards PCB, building prototypes, validating designs and successfully transitioning to high volume manufacture HVM. HW engineers ensure that SSD designs conform to standards and specifications. HW engineers make development plans and cost estimates for project teams and execute to product schedules. Responsibilities also include developing tests procedures for components and SSD product designs and writing FW for component and SSD product validation. HW engineers need to work closely with cross functional teams during pre and post design phase for smooth development of products and to meet product schedules. HW engineers develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group: The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must be pursuing a MS degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with analog circuits design, mixed circuit design, signals and systems, transmission lines- Experience with PCB design including circuit design, schematic capture, layout and validation- Experience in developing tests procedures for components and SSD product designs and writing FW for component and SSD product validation- Experience in development plans and cost estimates for project teams and execute to product schedules
