Job Description: Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Obtains materials, components, equipment and services. Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. May recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria. At higher levels may require domestic or global expertise of assigned commodities.

Inventory Management Systems Materials Handling System Redesign GSM is looking for MBA or technical candidates specializing in Supply Chain Management with up to 3 years of experience. Ideal candidates will possess Supply Chain exposure and demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, business strategy, strategic thinking, results orientation, innovation, influence, stakeholder management, customer orientation, supplier management, leadership, change management/adaptability, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, cross functional, team oriented environment
We have positions available in Portland, Oregon, Phoenix, Arizona and other Intel sites where there is a business need
Minimum Qualifications:

-Must be currently enrolled in a Master's Degree Program in Supply Chain Management, Business, technical or related field-Three (3) years of experience in supply chain management or engineering. Specifically procurement, supplier selection/management, contract negotiations, logistics/distribution, materials management, factory operations-Capable of building strategic relationships across multiple levels of supplier management to assess capabilities and to influence business development opportunities internally across Intel's multiple organizations and levels-Able to drive supplier performance requirements, priorities and business group strategies as it relates to supplier-Develops a supply chain network to leverage best known methods for internal and external strategic applications. Thinks cross-supply chain or end-to-end when developing creative solutions to complex problems-Exhibits skills capable of driving change and value in the supply chain by gaining efficiencies in cost, business process, and/or systems that improve stakeholder and customer satisfaction. Able to maintain functional excellence, but also leverages inter-dependencies-Displays analytical, problem solving and project management skills, Lean Six Sigma is highly desired-Experience with should-cost and must cost modeling concepts for benchmark
Preferred qualifications:

Direct Supply Chain experience, /or technical degrees and experience are a plus
