If so then our Visual and Parallel Computing Group (VPG) has opportunities for you. In VPG we deliver Intel's 3D graphics, media, display, GPU, and Parallel Computing Technology. The Graphics Software Engineering team is within VPG and we work to develop software on all OS's for Intel's latest GPU/CPU Architecture. Are you interested? In this position, you will partner with graphics engineering teams to manage the source and compilation of the Graphics Driver and contribute to software automation solutions, which will improve time to market for cutting edge products and impact the day-to-day lives of nearly 2,000 engineers. This position requires a diverse set of skills and will give you the opportunity to work with graphics engineering teams from all over the world. You would be part of a team of engineers whose areas of responsibility include supporting a highly available, global infrastructure built on Linux, open source technologies, designing automated deployment processes, enabling streamlined service and server configuration, and hardening a complex set of software to ensure a successful product launch. In addition the management of the graphics driver source and driver compilation will be co-managed with the graphics development team. You will guide your team to evaluate and optimize business processes that leverage these tools. Your team will have development opportunities including designing core services enabling database and web applications, SQL and NoSQL, enabling a robust content delivery network CDN, optimizing build and test automation workflows, and spreading best-practices for software development across the team. You will be stepping into a fast-moving, exciting environment with team members that are open to change, interested in learning, and anxious to help improve the lives of the engineering community at Intel. Responsibilitieswill include, but not limited to:

·  You will work alongside software development and hardware teams to analyze and debug software or hardware issues.
·  Develop tools to design and to define new methods for software feature testing.
·  Drive process improvements such as automating manual processes and data reporting.
·  Use and be comfortable with agile software development methodologies in the software development life cycle
·  Take responsibility for product releases

Qualifications

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and with 3+ years of Industry experience. Will consider applicants with 5+ years industry experience listed below in lieu of a Bachelor's degree but you must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.

·  Experience with Hypervisors, specifically VMWare or Hyper-V
·  Experience with networking, configuring routers and firewalls
·  Experience with maintaining >1,000 server nodes.

Additional skills a plus:

·  Experience working in high availability environments and machine configurations
·  Experience working with database backups and recovery
·  Experience with configuration management software such as Ansible
