Automotive System Safety Software EngineerDo you want to play a pivotal role in the autonomous driving revolution? Intel's Automated Driving Solutions Division are seeking talented Software Engineers to provide the technical leadership necessary to ensure Intel's success in this emerging market. The successful candidate will utilize their in-depth knowledge of embedded software to define products that ensures delivery of automotive credible and safety critical autonomous driving solutions which best meets the needs of Intel & our customers. Responsibilities:- Interface with peers at customers (OEM/Tier1/System Integrator) and 3rd parties (ex. RTOS, VMM or middleware vendors) to resolve complex problems related to safety critical hardware- Work with Intel design teams at all phases of the product development cycles to ensure automotive credible solutions, including the definition and design of new and innovative mechanisms- Implement & evaluate hardware proof of concepts in the safety critical software domain, spanning concepts like software lockstep to functional safety decomposition of application workloads

Desired profile

Minimum Requirements:- 5 yrs.+ working on complex embedded software applications &/or firmware &/or kernel &/or driver development- Desire to expand domain of knowledge into new domains; become an expert in functional safety and gain an appreciation of the system- Proven ability to execute in an ambiguous environment synonymous with new & emerging markets & technologies - Ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly and persuasively to peers Desired requirements; one or more of the following:- 3 yrs+ engaging directly with Intel customers or partners to resolve complex technical problems- 3 yrs working with safety critical (aka functional safety) standards, ex. ISO 26262, IEC 61508, etc.- Processor architecture knowledge
