In your new role you will:

·  Develop robust and efficient Design Rule Check (DRC) runsets for IC-Package designs and advanced CMOS processes and support our development departments and the package construction team with their utilization.
·  Create and execute quality assurance test cases and regression suites including both schematic and layout entry.
·  Identify and provide methodologies to improve the rule based layout verification environment and keep an eye on possible performance optimization.
·  Develop complex algorithms for creating and manipulating layout design data and help your internal contacts use them.
·  Debug design community test cases .
· Provide specification documents and whitepapers to your team and other departments as part of the runset development.

You are best equipped for this tasks if you:

· Bring a university degree in Electrical Engineering , Physics or Computer Engineering.
· Are able to understand the principles of semiconductor technologies like CMOS .
· Bring some knowledge and preferably practical experience in analog IC design .
· Have already had first contact with Design Rule Checks (DRC) and preferably already programmed them (e.g. in Calibre).
· Could already gather first knowledge with layouts and schematic entry .
· Are experienced with programming in high-level languages (e.g. C/C++, TCL, Perl) and with CAD tools (e.g. Cadence).
· Speak English fluently and have at least the will to learn German.
