About the job

An exciting opportunity has risen in our lighting department, and we are looking for two new colleagues who are pro active, attentive and has a passion for sales. No other is selling department is more hands on in terms of specialist customer contact. We need co-workers who will maintain a strong sense of urgency, who are naturally fast paced and thrive in working in a very busy environment.

1 x 24 hours per week to be worked over 4 days.
1 x 18 hours per week to be worked over 4 days.

You must be fully flexible with your hours as you will be required to week ends early and late shifts - we will give you one weekend in four off.

IKEA supports the "living wage foundation" by rewarding our co workers with starting rate of £8.75 per hour.

Must be confident to approach customers
To be an active and enthusiastic member of the team
To be able to prioritize time and tasks efficiently
Have a passion for home furnishings

Must be available to work weekends (78 weekend days per year), and have good availability for week days and evenings.

Retail experience is preferred but not essential
