ABOUT THE JOB
IKEA Distribution Centre is growing rapidly. We are now looking for our newest talent with an eye for detail and experience working within a logistics or warehousing environment to support us continue on our journey.

As a proactive Inventory Co-worker, you will become part of our highly motivated Inventory management team who is driven to secure stock accuracy, efficiency and availability to our customers.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
·  Completing daily inventory proactive checks to reduce shrinkage levels.
·  Auditing, maintaining & updating daily inventory adjustment reports/logs
·  Formulating, monitoring and delivering all relevant inventory KPI goals.
·  Carrying out scheduled PI Counts
·  Supporting overall Company inventory routines.
·  Assuming responsibility for other General warehouse tasks and projects as assigned.
·  Communicating & partnering up with co-workers across all levels of the organisation
·  Ensuring all consumables are stored and moved in accordance to SOP guidelines
·  Developing required tools scripts/reports for Inventory Team Leader
·  Analysing root causes & implement action plans to improve operational efficiency
·  Understanding & complying with Ikea's values, business idea, SOP & code of conduct YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:

·  Being self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
·  A co-operative team player with great communication skills
·  Self-Starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
·  A creative, analytical and business minded
·  Possess strong data entry skills and excel knowledge
·  Able to utilise fall protection tools on elevated platform equipment's
·  Holding a current Scissor lift, LF & LO license (preferable)
·  Able to lift up to 20kg.
·  Able to work on a rotating/week-end roster GROWING TOGETHER
