About you
You have experience working in customer facing fast paced environments specifically around Christmas periods and are enthusiastic about working with others in a team. You have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a polite and friendly manner. You are able to quickly build relationships with others and have proven ability to be assertive and remain calm when faced with stressful situations. Good attention to detail and the ability to multitask and take personal initiative as well as an interest in home furnishing are important in this role.

About the job
As a temporary fixed term store greeter, you are the face of IKEA. You will be the first person that they see and are able to create a positive experience at the start of their IKEA journey in store. You handle complains and queries in an efficient and empathetic way. You serve as a well-qualified home furnishing specialist by showing our customers home furnishing solutions full of inspiring ideas

About the assignment
Your tasks will include:

·  Listening to feedback from customers when it is given and passing it to the relevant people.
·  Use your knowledge to resolve customer issues, recognising when to escalate to someone with higher authorisation.

·  My priority is to ensure my area is effectively equipped at all times throughout the day and I am ready and available to help customers when needed

·  Build relationships with other departments and pass on any knowledge that will contribute to a better shopping experience for the customer.
·  Offer solutions to frequently asked questions, helping to make a better shopping experience for everyone
