About the Job:
Maintain the flow of carts/baby strollers throughout the store to ensure maximum availability to the customer to strengthen IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store
Your Assignment:
Your tasks will include:
· Assist customers in loading merchandise into vehicles as efficiently as possible
· Ensure that the loading zone remains clear
· Maintain a balanced cart flow throughout the store/home delivery areas
· Disassemble AS IS merchandise when required
· Assist customers with bringing merchandise to be returned
· Report inoperable equipment to managers
· Maintain outside area, ensuring inventory is fully stocked
· Work closely with the furniture pick up and warehouse staff to ensure the integrity of merchandise pulls
· Use available resources to educate yourself on product features and customer interaction skills
· Contribute to an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers
· Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur or as directed
Your Profile:
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
· Proactive and courteous customer approach
· Ability to adjust your pace of work to meet the business needs throughout the day
· Good communication skills
· Willingness to share your knowledge and learning
· Problem-solving skills
· Interest in home furnishings
· Computer aptitude
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. (25 kg) and push several carts at once
Your Workplace :
· High volume, fast-paced retail environment
· Work in all types of weather and conditions
Your Availability & Work Week
· Open availability in the week is preferred; at a minimum, however, you must meet one of the following:
· Open availability to work both Saturdays and Sundays, and at least one (1) full weekday (Monday to Friday)
· Open availability to work both Saturdays and Sundays, and at least two (2) weeknights (Monday to Friday closing shifts)

· Reports to: Aftersales Services Manager
· Supervised by: Aftersales Services Team Leader
