Your assignment

You will be responsible for Accounts Payable. Your tasks include:-

·     Ensure the accuracy and timely of all entries posted by Accounts Payable Assistant

·     Check and verify all the payments before sending to Authorised Signatories for approval

·     Prepare Creditor Reconciliation

·     Ensure there are no long outstanding invoices

·     Ensure the month end Accounts Payable closing is complete on a timely and accurate basis in accordance with established closing calendar

·     Ensure the withholding tax are paid within a week from the date of payment

·     Bi-Monthly SST Reporting, Submission & Payment was done one week before the due date

·     SO Accounting Petty Cash

·     Liaise with banks for any banking issues related to payments

·     Liaise with Internal & External Auditors on matters related to Accounts Payable 

·     Support the Assistant Accounting Manager/Accounting Manager where needed

Your profile

·     YouaresomeonewithaDiploma/DegreeinFinanceorAccountingwith atleast3yearsworkingexperience in Accounts Payable roles.

·     Experience in the retail industry will be an advantage.

·     Youhavegood computer literacyandareproficientinMicrosoft Officee.g.MicrosoftWordandExcel.

·     Possess a good command of English (written & spoken) and able to work independently on multiple tasks. 

·     Youaremeticulous,flexiblewith apositiveattitude and youareabletoworkunder pressure to meet tight deadlines and able to withstand work pressure.

·     Youareateamplayer, open to taking on responsibilities and areable to work independently with minimal supervision.
