About us
The Crowne Plaza Brand has returned to Adelaide! This is an exciting time to join this newly built full service upscale hotel, opened 2nd November 2020. Comprising of 329 guest rooms with check-in on level 10, infinity pool and gymnasium.Our Restaurant Koomo & Bar Luna10 are described as Japanese Modernism reflecting Japans rich history with contemporary details, without being overtly traditional. The concept of high-quality comfort food, with a Japanese twist will flow from Koomo to Room Service, and poolside to Luna10.There is also a dedicated function centre with six versatile function rooms and kitchen. The owner will manage the building car park and ground floor retail spaces. The business mix will be varied with domestic & international leisure, Corporate & Government and MICE residential, day meetings and social events.At Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts our goal is to make business travel work. Your day to day
As a member of our Stewarding team, your passion for cleanliness and hygiene will be critical in supporting our Culinary and Restaurants & Bars team to deliver the highest level of guest satisfaction. Taking pride in our work spaces and giving our team the benefit of your organisation and expertise, you’ll partner with them to ensure health, hygiene and food safety is paramount and a daily focus within the kitchens and front of house restaurant, bar and conference spaces. You’ll get in amongst it all; cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and the premises, whilst upholding hygienic standards and practices.This role will also champion our stores area; general upkeep and receiving goods, ensuring HACCP quality control while working with all departments to manage arriving goods. It is anticipated this role will begin in February 2021.
What we need from you
Ideally you’ll have experience in a similar role in a kitchen environment and take a real sense of pride in your ability to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, with exposure to a hotel environment a plus. You’ll also have the ability to work autonomously and as a team alongside excellent communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of the role. A working knowledge and understanding of HACCP Food Safety procedures is ideal but not essential. You'll be prepared to carry, lift and push heavy items, such as plates, trolleys and garbage bins Flexibility to work a varied roster including, late evenings, weekends and public holidays in order to support the operation alongside holding Australian work rights is also a must.
