We are looking for a Procurement BI Analyst who will be predominately providing support services for the function including analytics, sourcing, travel and contract database

Your day to day

As a Procurement BI Analyst, you will be doing the execution of month end reporting processes.

You would also be responsible for data management and report creation from all PaCE systems including, but not limited to, Ariba and ProcureWizard.

This role has a wide reach and remit and will cover amongst other things:

·  Assisting in the designing and delivery of analytical reports that deliver effective insight using MS Excel, SSRS, SQL or Tableau
·  Recording calls / email activity in IHG ticketing system and Resolve issues relating to calls / emails or escalate queries to correct resolver group(s) as necessary. Updating ticketing system as appropriate
·  Ensuring appropriate governance is in place prior to the start of any activity
·  Helping specify and creating a new procurement data warehousing solution
·  Analysing tender returns and collating information whilst meeting agreed delivery SLA’s and compliance
·  Providing insight on tender returns to simplify review process for internal customers
·  Assisting in specifying and creating a new BI reporting solution
·  Performing Quality Checks on own work and for team members where requested
·  Providing suggestions and input as to how services could be improved or delivered more effectively and providing assistance with service reporting as appropriate
·  Ad hoc reporting and analytical support for the wider PaCE function
·  Prioritising workload to ensure delivery of projects within agreed SLA’s
·  Producing project progress reporting for senior management in the form of summaries and graphs
What we need from you

The successful candidate will have a Finance or business-related education or experience within a finance/relevant role.

Ideally you would also have experience in creating reporting solutions using Excel and MS Reporting Services, Tableau or Business Objects and have demonstrable operating experience of querying databases using SQL.

You would also have proven experience with handling and manipulating large customer data set.

You would also need to have:

·  Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including: using formula and creating pivot tables.
·  Visualisation of Data experience
·  Experience of using Tableau would be beneficial
·  Exposure to Visual basic/SQL or any coding languages beneficial
·  Ability to clearly explain things to user and the empathise with them
·  Experience working to deadlines and SLAs
·  Experience of working as part of a team

Our picturesque office in Denham, Buckinghamshire is easily accessible on the A4/M40. Alternatively, many of our employees commute from London – there are regular trains from London Marylebone taking approx. 20 – 35 minutes, or the Metropolitan or Piccadilly tube lines go to Uxbridge where we provide a free shuttle bus.
