Crowne Plaza London Kensington is looking for Meeting & Events Coordinator to join our Team in London.

A stylish central London hotel with a Georgian façade, meeting facilities, a chic restaurant and it is just steps from Gloucester Road Tube station

As a Meeting & Events Coordinator , you will be team to be focused, organised and passionate about great customer experience with exceptional customer service and you'll have a passion for working within Hospitality and enjoy being an active member of a diverse team.

Key Duties:

·  You would be responsible for assisting the Meetings & Events Sales Manager in the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring this runs smoothly.
·  Drive revenue through effective sales, negotiation, yield management and conversion to maximise the most profitable opportunities.
·  Create and maintain strong working relationships with prospective, new, and existing clients.
·  Responding to daily enquiries via telephone and email and conduct site visits
·  Processing proposals, contracts and function sheets for clients while maintain strong communication with key departments in the Hotel.
·  Attend and contribute to meetings, training and assist with departmental reporting.
·  Maintain diary for remaining food & beverage outlets and help close enquiries.

What we are looking for in our Meetings & Events Coordinator:

·  Ideally experience within similar role within a 4 or 5 * property
·  Hard working, organised, a team player and have excellent communication skills.
·  You will be able to self-motivate, as well as motivate others, and always be professional in appearance & presentation.
·  Have a good understanding of the sales process.
·  Can maintain relationships with both internal and external clients
·  Be efficient and have excellent communication skills.
·  It is essential that you are computer literate with good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
·  Experience of working with Delphi.fdc, would be advantageous.
