Your day to day
We have an exciting and unique opportunity for an energetic and customer focused go-getter to join our reservations team at Crowne Plaza Canberra! The role encompasses all aspects of reservations for the hotel including handling of quotes, negotiating and converting group bookings to meet hotel targets. You will process and manage all group blocks efficiently and accurately and meet conversion rates and revenue targets as well as response turnaround times in line with IHG Brand Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
What we need from you
For this role, we are looking for someone with a Degree/Higher Education qualification or equivalent in Hospitality, Sales & Marketing or related field, and 2+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in a reservations or sales role. This role requires a demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties in a manner that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the company. You must have a keen eye for detail, exceptional time management, problem solving and communication skills, and maintain an ongoing commitment to quality and providing a truly unique experience to our guests You must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.
