Grand Central Hotel are looking for a Food & Beverage Coordinator to join our Family.

A 4-star landmark hotel adjoining Glasgow Central Station

Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow was originally built in the late 19th-century as a great British railway hotel. One of the city's most prestigious buildings, the hotel has welcomed many famous guests including Frank Sinatra and Winston Churchill, throughout the years.

The Role:

Grand Central Hotel are currently seeking to recruit a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level, in the position of Food & Beverage Coordinator

As Food & Beverage Coordinator , you will own the role of the bookings and reservations within Tempus Restaurant and The Champagne Bar this role is paramount to the overriding success and will be part of the overall revenue generation, service delivery, this role will include up selling our products and ensuring customer requests are translated to the operations team

Our Food & Beverage Coordinator is not a role just taking calls and sitting doing bookings. It will be and is seen as a pro-active position, with the individual being eager to go and drive business to our outlets, through both marketing and online platforms.

As our Food & Beverage Coordinator you will need to creatively think outside the box in terms of diary management, reporting and filling the business with demand.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Coordinator who is intuitive, and an individual who loves working as part of a great team but bust be able to work under minimal supervision.

You will have previous experience in multi outlet Food & Beverage hotel and knowledge of third-party vouchers and how these are redeemed/processed – Itison, Wowcher, Groupon etc

You will have a flexibility in working hours, this is not a 9-5 Monday to Friday role, as there will be a requirement to work weekends and Bank Holiday, hosting/meeting and greeting guests within the outlets
