Your day to day

Key Accountabilities:

·  Coach and develop team members; hire, onboard, assess, discipline, document performance. Act as an advisor to staff to help meet established schedules and/or resolve technical or operational problems, if managing direct reports.
·  Manage User and User roles including; creation, updates and deletion. Conduct internal and external security audits to ensure compliance.
·  Work with key stakeholders to identify preferred business solutions and priorities
·  Translate high-level business requirements into feature specifications, use cases and requirements for the technical engineering teams and facilitate changes as needed.
·  Create basic test plans and conditions, execute and evaluate test scripts, communicate defects with IT, provide results and resolve testing incidents thoroughly documenting all results.
·  Coordinate Global testing efforts with multiple Ecosystems as needed.
·  Communicate issues identified during testing to key stakeholders and IT and follow through to resolution.
·  Validate and verify that all systems are operating in accordance with system requirements and design specifications.
·  Provide support and documentation to appropriate stakeholders to assist them with developing training.
·  Monitor and investigate reported system issues from hotels, analytics, end users or stakeholders, escalate issues to IT and follow through for resolution.
·  Compile and analyze a variety of moderately complex data to include creating spreadsheets or databases for maintaining and reporting information.
·  Work is typically performed in a normal office environment.
What we need from you

Education –

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience –

One to three years progressive work-related experience as a system user, user acceptance tester, or business systems analysis with demonstrated technical proficiency related to the position.

Skills and Knowledge –

·  Demonstrated knowledge of assigned applications and demonstrated understanding of the organizations business systems and processes
·  Demonstrated ability to understand technical problems and solutions in relation to current as well as future business environments.
·  Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills
·  Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining technical information to stakeholders.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·  Possesses drive to work through issues, seek team support and escalate issues as appropriate.
·  Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
·  Software testing experience.
·  Supervisory experience, as needed.

Specialized Technical skills – May require demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:

·  Reservations & Customer Care System Applications
·  Web Services, Internet/Extranet/Intranet – Agent facing and self-service
·  Revenue Management Systems
·  Telephony
