Job description
SEO Manager:
Overall Purpose of the role:
The primary objective of the role is to increase organic search traffic.
Roles and responsibilities:
· Plan, develop and implement the company wide SEO strategy
· Proactively promote SEO best practice throughout the business
· Work closely with our in-house teams and our PR agency to grow offsite SEO performance
· Carry out competitor analysis, keyword research, content reviews and other associated research
· Be hands-on with the implementation of onsite SEO tasks including designing information architecture, on-page optimisation, site audits, structured data implementation and so on.
· Play an integral role in the development and execution of the content strategy
· Define SEO KPI frameworks and reporting processes
· Undertake ad hoc research/analysis/ troubleshooting when required by the business
· Work closely with our inhouse development team to implement technical SEO improvements
· Keep up to date with the latest trends across SEO and content marketing
Skills:
· Strong commercial awareness and the ability to prioritise tasks based on what is best for the business
· Strong project management and time management skills to ensure projects are delivered in an efficient and timely manner
· Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects to ambitious deadlines
· Excel as part of a team and an organisation which values collaboration
· Ability to communicated technical SEO in a way that is easy to understand
· Excellent attention to detail is a must
· Creating reports in Excel, Google Sheets and Google Analytics
