Job description

The zCloud Mainframe Junior Solution Architect has joint responsibility for creating the hardware / software solution for all new contract opportunities. Additionally, the Junior Architect will provide research / input for IBM mainframe hardware and software products/solutions to meet/exceed key business measurements. The Junior Solutions Architect will have a solid foundation level understanding of IBM's z/Mainframe and software product portfolio. Responsibilities include:

-Cient solutioning and automation on complex engagements
-Review and make recommendations on proposed technical solutions.
-Generate system design and architecture documents.
-Cloud concepts and model.
-Hands-on technical architecture

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  z/Cloud Mainframe Junior to Mid level Solution Architect experience (2+ years)
·  Basic understanding of Mainframe applications such as (DB2, CICS, RACF) (2+ years)
·  Client Presentation Experience (1+ years)
·  Ability to obtain Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance level.
