The mission of IBM Watson Health Mission is to improve lives and give hope by delivering innovation to address the world's most pressing health challenges through data and cognitive insights. We are seeking a Summer intern with potential to go part-time during the school year- ideally a pre- or mid-MBA student. The role will be tailored somewhat to meet candidate's specific interests, but will largely focus on two areas: 1) cultivating the Watson Health business partner ecosystem through marketing, and 2) supporting Market Insight needs of this fast-growing business. The role will require strategic thinking, creativity, demonstrated organizational and project management capabilities, and excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills. By joining IBM for this opportunity, the candidate will be working at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovations applied across the Health landscape, and gain business, technical and health industry exposure.

The Market Insights component of the internship rotation will include exposure to the following areas:
·  Prioritization of market research on behalf of the channels and partnerships team
·  Development of the statement of work required to generate market research
·  Exposure to various market research tools
Responsibilities may include:
·  Assist in the scope requirements and assembly of Market Research
·  Conduct market research using available tools
·  Analyze the key findings of the market research
·  Leverage tools to track and measure the impact of our market research
·  Updating material repositories such as community webpage and industry impact council
·  Present outcomes of market research and impact to Watson Health Business

The Partner Marketing component of the internship rotation will include exposure to the following areas:
·  Supporting Watson Health's channel distribution and embed strategies
·  Operationalizing a newly-established Partner Marketing Program
·  Identifying the whitespace of new partners, by an unmet clinical, business or technical need
·  Working directly with business partners to support / improve their proficiency to market and sell Watson Health capabilities
·  Developing materials and assets to help "sell-to" and "sell through" partners. Responsibilities may include:
·  Editing materials for style, grammar and content
·  Organizing client or partner seller sales enablement training
·  Content creation and digital delivery of assets
·  Daily tracking of partner requests such as logos and content approvals
·  Analysis and reporting of pipeline and sales activity
·  Participating in teams to design Go To Market strategies and campaigns for partners
Qualifications:
·  Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
·  Organized and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
·  Quick to pick up new health / healthcare terms and concepts
·  Quick to pick up technology capabilities and benefits
·  Self starter with a start up mentality, quick to speak up, comfortable being in the role of a change agent
·  Team player, able to collaborate across extended teams - face to face and remotely
·  Prior exposure to businesses in the Healthcare Provider, Payer, Government Health or Life Sciences industries
·  Prior usage of competitive intelligence tools such as Marketo and Forrester
·  Ability to quickly source and distribute insights that are relevant to potential partners
·  Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
