Job Summary

The Product Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for the marketing activities for products in their assigned portfolio. This position is responsible for building organizational understanding of the market, crafting the differentiating messaging for products, developing the product marketing strategy, and producing deliverables for the sales and marketing organizations at Watson Health Imaging.

Essential Job Duties:
·  Support development of go-to-market strategy, messaging and content plan to drive demand and lead generation activities
·  Assist conducting voice of customer studies (1-1 interviews, focus groups, surveys) and secondary market research
·  Building competitive analyses, conducting win/loss analyses, understanding market trends, and providing insights to the business to help guide roadmap and strategy
·  Crafting the go to market messages with clearly defined differentiators
·  Developing market segment problem statements, using business cases and scenarios.
·  Collaborating cross functionally with offerings management, marketing functions, and sales
·  Identifying and communicating possible improvements in the work process.
·  Supporting and implementing robust product launches and managing the cross-functional implementation of the plan
·  Providing differentiating value propositions, product positioning training, trade show business justification documents, and collateral content for the Sales and Marketing organizations at Watson Health Imaging
·  Creating diverse marketing collateral such as case studies, data sheets, whitepapers, FAQs, blog posts, ROI tools, and sales presentations. Tracking feedback to measure performance and adjusting marketing accordingly

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Bachelor's in business or marketing
·  2-3 years of healthcare product marketing or healthcare product management experience
·  Strong understanding of health industry, regulatory requirements and quality management system
·  Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
·  Excellent people and management skills to interact with cross-functional teams and third parties
·  Functional knowledge of sales, marketing and development processes
·  Strong project management skills
