Job description
The Medical Sieve grand challenge research project has urgent need for a full-time software engineer researcher in radiology imaging.
Applicants should have a PhD in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or related fields and should have had work done in diagnostic interpretation of radiology imaging or have background in computer vision or machine learning addressing areas such as: image processing, segmentation, object detection and recognition, and statistical machine learning in large collections. Coverage of radiology imaging in CT, X-ray, MRI for any of the 13 radiology specialties of Neurological, Musculoskeletal (MSK) System, Gastrointestinal (GI) system, nuclear radiology, pediatric, reproductive, thoracic, urinary, vascular, interventional, or physics is desirable.
The candidates should have demonstrated independent thinking and achievements through publications or software development. Programming in Java/C++, Matlab, and system skills are required.
