Job description

We are the IBM CIO network security engineering team and we are looking for individuals to help develop and support software applications supporting IBM's internal network. You will be part of a team which creates and maintains applications built on with modern frameworks and cloud services. These applications support end user requests for network services, the management of network equipment configurations, data analytics yielding visibility to network operations and security incidents, integration of our applications with other IBM systems, creation of various reporting and dashboard services, creation of other applications in support of network security, automation and network operations.

Responsibilities:

Solution creation and delivery within ServiceNow framework, Ansible integration, Web Service (REST/SOAP/XML) integration – including:

· Creation and delivery of solutions addressing requirements through technical architecture in consideration of process design, Best Practice and Standards
· Translate requirements into functional service designs and create service models along with supporting documentation (stories, sprints, releases)
· Ensure technical deliverables are complete, consistent, high quality, on time and deliver valued outcomes
· Lead requirement gathering workshops to identify use cases and value-based acceptance criteria
· Creation and lifecycle maintenance of applications, workflows, user interfaces, documentation
· Development of required integration components (REST, SSO, LDAP, etc)
· Continuous improvement of our implementation methodology and applications based on client experiences

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

4+ years of experience in software dev
Good understanding of TCP/IP and OSI model
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM applications for Request, Service Desk, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service, Configuration and Asset Management.
Experience in developing and configuring workflows in ServiceNow. Ability to develop requirements based on client interviews.
Experience in full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Training and Operational Support
Experience with Web Technologies (JSON/XML, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) and working in a SaaS environment.
Experience in maintaining applications during their entire lifecycle
Experience with integration and deployment technologies such as LDAP, SAML/SSO, ETL, Enterprise messaging, Docker/container technology
Experience with Database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and software development standards
Experience with revision control systems (ex. SVN, Git, etc.)
Experience with unit and integration testing

Extensive knowledge and practical application of security principles and practices within networks.
Experience with AngularJS, Selenium a plus
