*This position resides in Markham, Ontario and is a 12 -month work term commencing September 2017 . It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.

Data Science is changing the landscape of how organizations do their business. To help that effort Watson Data Platform is IBMs leading SaaS to enable data scientists to uncover insights in their data.

During your internship you'll help shaping the future of Watson Data Platform. You'll prototype and implement a service which allows users to quickly install applications, and query big data in IBM Data Platform through APIs.
This service will be tightly integrated into the data exploration aspect of the platform. You'll write and test Node js code, using frameworks like Node.js, React.js, MongoDB nosql, RESTFUL API.
