Job description

The IBM Deutschland Research & Development GmbH in one of the biggest European laboratories in the global network of IBM product development.
IBM Safer Payments develops and distributes real-time systems for fraud detection in electronic payment transactions.
Our clients are financial service providers from all around the world. We use innovative software technologies, e.g. Artificial Intelligence (AI) processes
and pattern recognition, as well as combinatorial optimization algorithms for reliable detection of criminal activities.
Simultaneously, we develop special technologies for high performance data storage in clustered computer networks and for massive parallel processing of
complex calculation functions. This enables IBM Safer Payments to support organizations of all sizes with the digital transformation of their business
models.

We are now looking for graduates of computer science (or similar) and experienced professionals to extend our development team in Koblenz.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Degree in computer science or similar
·  Professional experience in software development
·  Good knowledge in object-oriented programming (C++/Java) and/or advanced knowledge in JavaScript and CSS or Python
·  Basic knowledge in revision control, issue tracking and agile software development
·  Ideally experience in MS Visual Studio
·  Basic Linux knowledge
·  Fluent in English
