Job description
IBM; in the 60's we helped get the Apollo astronauts to the moon, and back again, in the 80's we created the PC, in the 90's we built Deep Blue which defeated the world chess champion, Gary Kasparov, and in the 2000's we created Watson, the artificial intelligent system which beat the human Jeopardy champions.
Yes, that was us and we're still pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with technology. This will include providing guidance and assistance to the Agency on technical issues and roadmaps and architecture strategies for future releases of IBM products they already use. The SDA may also provide advice on IBM's alignment with existing solutions and architectures, the capabilities of relevant IBM software solutions and how IBM software products may be combined to deliver new or enhance existing business solutions. Where appropriate, the SDA will facilitate the involvement of other IBM specialists who can provide deeper insights into specific IBM technologies.
