Business Unit Introduction
The IBM Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization spans several functional areas such as procurement, manufacturing, demand-supply planning, manufacturing engineering, logistics, customer fulfillment, accounts receivable collection and sales transaction support.

Who you are:
A shift engineer handles critical mechanical systems and interacts with the client representatives on the site. They are also responsible for operation and maintenance of critical mechanical systems and electrical systems (if required) in a data center.
What you’ll do:
As a shift engineer you will be involved in day to day issues related to operations and maintenance of mechanical systems in a data centre. Vendor management and interaction with the client would also be a part of the daily activities. You would also be responsible for managing a team of technicians like chiller operators, BMS operators, floor technicians, HVAC operators, plumbers etc

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Operation and maintenance of mechanical systems such as chillers and associated equipment such as pumps, CTs etc
·  Proven communication skills would be required since interactions with various teams ranging from Clients/ Facility Managers/ Vendors will be a part of this role
