Job description

The Security Tools Engineer will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and administration of security tools for a U.S. Federal client managed by IBM.
·  You will configure, deploy, and manage security tools in compliance with Federal requirements while also ensuring continued compliance for all devices.
·  Work with the security operations center team to ensure security devices/tools are configured properly to monitor, tracked, and analyze networks/systems for potential security violations while also assisting in all such potential incidents.
·  Also provide information security subject matter expertise throughout the tasking and translate security requirements into technical designs/solutions.
·  IBM is hiring these positions to be located at our Rocket Center, West Virginia (near Cumberland, MD) OR Boulder,CO offices.
·  United States Citizenship, relocation to the Rocket Center or Boulder area, and the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance are required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Security Information Event Management (SIEM) Tool administration and reporting – 2 Years Experience
·  Endpoint Protection administration and reporting –2 Years Experience
·  Vulnerability Assessment Tool management and reporting – 2 Years experience
·  Security Certification such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP
·  Strong systems, networking, process and people skills
·  Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance-not required day 1
