Job description

IBM Research is seeking an Experimentalist with a magnetics background to work as a Research Staff Member at its T. J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY.

You will work on the Magnetic Random Access Memory (MRAM) project. We are seeking a self-driven, innovative, hands-on Experimentalist with a proven track record of achievement, and a demonstrated interest in the intersection between exploratory research and technology development. You must have a proven background in magnetic device physics and related testing. The work will be done in conjunction with a diversely skilled team, so demonstrated collaboration and communication skills are essential.

PhD degree in Physics, Materials Science or Electrical Engineering is required.
