Job description
This person will be working with teams designing, implementing, documenting, integrating, and unit testing common services components (identity, provisioning, metrics, customer api, etc) of the core legacy platform SoftLayer business systems. As a Project Manager working with these teams, the applicant will be expected to document project plans of multiple teams, identify and track dependencies between work items, understand technical jargon and work closely with developers to break down requirements into identifiable project steps. They'll also be expected to be able to summarize project status and provide executives updates on project progress as required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Minimum 4 years doing formal software development project management.
· Exceptional verbal, written, and teaming skills, organizational abilities and demonstrated multi-tasking abilities.
· Must be familiar with production software development processes such as release management, builds, version control, etc.
· Must be familiar with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, ProjectLibre, Aha, or Jira.
· Must be familiar with Agile project planning techniques such as Kanban methodology and scrum.
· Must be experienced and capable using executive presentation tools like PowerPoint or Excel.
