Job description
Works with the various teams in the application from System Engineers, Developers, Testers, and external project managers to plan, track and manage the schedule, budget and quality of the projects assigned. Provide timely status updates and manage metrics, escalations to the executive manager. Participates in project teams, provide expertise or serve as facilitators and liaisons or coordinators. Performs assigned tasks including requests for proposal through development, test and final delivery following IBM processes and methodologies. May use tools to analyze and implement portions of a client solution. Effectively works on client engagements to provide input into the development of proposals, requirements, plans, designs and the delivery solutions with direction as required. Participate in knowledge sharing activities like communities of practice, forums, conferences and/or other knowledge exchanges.
The IBM Services Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our Monroe, LA center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and transition at a client site (Monday thru Friday). You may be required to travel up to 50% of the time as needed. No remote opportunities exist.
