Job description

Within your role as an Analyst in the Privacy Practice you will:
·  Contribute to the design, development and launch of the MPS services to our clients, such as: Privacy Impact Assessments, handling of Data Subject Requests, Cross Border Data Movement reviews, Vendors privacy assessments, Privacy Incidents and breach management
·  Directly deliver MPS services requiring Analyst level knowledge and capabilities.
·  Support the development a written knowledge management system to enable measurable, predictable and repeatable delivery of MPS services.
·  Provide support and research to projects involving data privacy and information rich management.
·  Gather, analyse, and interpret data related to the scope of the project.
·  Prepare presentations and participate in crafting other documents for the project team and client.
·  Participate in interviews of executives, corporate directors, and regulators.
·  Assist with project planning, team organization, and coordination.
·  Participate in business development for both MPS and Advisory work and in the client strategic planning processes.
·  Analyse legal or regulatory requirements, including as developed through administrative or judicial proceedings.
·  Review and analyse client written materials, such as policies, procedures, and governance artefacts.
·  Monitor and prepare reports on global regulatory developments.
·  Be expected to sometimes travel to client sites for up to 75% of your week, other weeks there will be no travel at all depending on the demands of the client.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  A law-based degree.
·  0 to 3 years work experience in Privacy and data protection matters
·  Superior writing and editing skills with the ability to construct well-founded, clear, and concise analysis and recommendations.
·  Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
·  Ability to handle complex information, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks.
·  Effective communication skills with clients, and within all levels of the organization.
