As a Pre Sales Technical Architect: Experienced Solution Sales leader to provide cross-geo solution strategy, design and architecture support for strategic complex Resiliency engagements. Requires 10 years plus experience in complex solution sales to be able to provide client specific and tailored solutions based on the Resiliency offerings portfolio with the ability to when required customize standard repeatable components to align an end to end solution with client objectives. Experienced in working complex commercial and architectural for Resiliency based solutions, with a strong knowledge of Resiliency needs across the 7 layers of the client enterprise. Experienced Application, Data and Platform replication best practice to enable client objective aligned solutions that enable the Resiliency outcomes for complex hybrid client environments. Deep understanding of IBM and none IBM Cloud Platforms, the experience of working with clients to determine best Resiliency practice across Public, Private and hybrid cloud environments. Strong foundational skills in Application and storage replication techniques with a strong understanding of successful commercial models to align client opex and capex needs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  10 plus years of hands-on expertise in Solaris/Aix/HPUX/Linux and Windows
·  10 plus years of hands-on experience with databases like Oracle, Sybase, DB2, MS-SQL, & MYSQL
·  Bachelor's Degree
·  5 to 7 years of client facing C level and below experience
·  Managed Services Solution Sales SME. Demonstrate previous success with Resiliency Solution Sales skills
·  Above average communication and presentation skills, Fluent in English
·  Willing to support WW Teams in many different time Zones
·  Awareness of Resiliency best practice across the 7 layers of the enterprise from Strategy and Vision to Facilities
·  Able to demonstrate consultative engagement approach with IBM Clients and Solution Teams
·  Travel: 50 to 75% w/Minimum of 80% of activity focused on clients
