Oracle Database Administrator 2nd/3rd level, will be part of the Oracle support team and should have Strong Oracle Database experience on different operating system platforms.

When the database administration (DBA) staff is stretched to the limit, the business is stretched too. Performance problems translate to declining customer satisfaction, at IBM we try to streamline and simplify daily DBA tasks including database maintenance, schema change management, performance management, and database availability. More effective DBAs translate to better application performance, greater revenue, more satisfied customers and greater ability to meet SLAs.

Your day to day activities will include:
- Oracle Database Administration & Maintenance on Unix| Linux| Sun Solaris & Windows platform
- Oracle Bug fix, Patchset updateand CPU Patching
-Rman Backup & Recovery online | Offline | Archivelog backup
- Export & Import using exp/imp andoracle data pump
-Configuration of Oracle Net Services & Listener | Stop & Start of Listener
- Able to read and understand backup shell script
- Able to write Basic SQL statements
- Candidate must be willing to improve skill in Database Area
- Candidate must be willing to work for OnCall

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
At least 2 years experience in Oracle Database
English: Fluent - French: basic

Preferred skills
Basic skill of DB2 Maintenance (Stop / Start / Tablespace full / Log full)
Basic skill of MSSQL (Stop / Start / Tablespace full / Log full)
Master's Degree
Willing to work in a 3 shift model
