We are looking for a new colleague to our EMEA network operate squad. Our squad is responsible for the health of the internal IBM network in EMEA (potential extension also to other GEO's as we are going more global). The basic requirements for all members of our squad are accountability (taking the ownership of words, actions, decisions and mistakes), responsibility (to do the job completely) and trust (in the group of people working together). The candidate have to have a basic network knowledge and experience with the network monitoring (WAN/LAN/WLAN, FW). Practice and usage of basic service management processes (incident/change/problem management) is also required to do an appropriate actions catch by the monitoring. The infrastructure we are mainly using is CISCO based however we are also using Juniper and Palo Alto devices. Our squad is actually working in the follow the sun mode however there is an opportunity to work in work shifts. The candidate have an opportunity to work with the global team - colleagues from whole Europe, Middle east, Africa, Asia Pacific, United states and Latin America.
Requirements:
Basic network knowledge and experience with the network monitoring
Basic Service management Operations processes (Incident/Change/Problem management)
Communication language: English (fluent level)
Advantage:
CISCO certifications - CCNA Switching & Routing or even CCNP
Knowledge about network Intelligence tools like Thousand Eyes, Riverbed NetProfiler, CISCO NCS Prime
ITIL3 certificates (Foundations or even Service Operations)
Salary starting from 1.800€/m based on relevant experience
