Middleware Engineer

Job description

You as Middleware Engineer will develop tasks like:
- Installation, Configuration, Maintenance & Troubleshooting of systems like Peoplesoft, WebSphere.
- Upgrade and migrate systems from a lower to a higher version.
- Understand database connection pools and strong knowledge on Datasource subsystem configuration.
- Perform tuning and automation for routine procedures.
- Must be able to converse with the client to understand new implementation scope and contribute to the development of overall project Time Requirements for bidding.
-Must be able to meet with client application owners/developers to determine the best solutions for project requirements.
Fine tuning of JBOSS / IIS / WebSphere Application Server / IBM Http Server / Apache / Tomcat server - e.g. Heap Memory, Garbage Collection, logging enable / disable etc.
Taking and analyzing Heap & Thread Dumps.
Good in deploying applications, performance tuning, troubleshooting, maintain security, and automates routine procedures through scripting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.
Basic knowledge of Shell scripting.
Basic knowledge of Networking concepts.
Must be a strong team player.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Advance knowledge of Middleware infrastructure (+3 years experience).
- Advance knowledge in Systems like Peoplesoft, Websphere. (+3 years Experience)
- Intermediate Knowledge in Unix/Linux Operative System. (2 years experience)
- Advance Knowledge in VMWARE virtualization and VMWARE NSX (2 years experience)
- Excellent communication skills
- English Level: B2 or higher
