As the Microsoft 365 Engineer , you will be joining a growing team that is working on exciting and highly visible projects for our Department of the Treasury customers. You will be responsible for migrating from Exchange on-prem to Microsoft 365 and play a critical technical role in the development and delivery of Microsoft services and solutions.

Program Mission...
The project you will be working is to establish cloud-based architectures, based upon business requirements, for cloud migration while maintaining architectural best practices. Specifically, the Azure Active Directory Engineer provides support, implementation, and design services for Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AD) and Windows-based systems across the enterprise, including directory and identity management solutions. Resolves and appropriately completes assigned tasks and change requests and acts as an escalation for support issues. Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with team and determines course of action for new application initiatives. Implements new software solutions as required by the business. The core infrastructure technology duties include Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, ADFS, Azure Key Vault, policy configuration, and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Years of Experience : 12+ relevant years of experience
Education : Bachelors in a Technical Discipline – Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree (preffered)
Location : Washington, DC and/or Tysons Corner, VA
Clearance : Active Top Secret, ability to obtain SCI and Public Trust
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· 3+ years of experience administrating and implementing Microsoft 365 (Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint).
· 1 or more examples of Microsoft migrations (i.e., On-prem Exchange, SharePoint) onto M365.
· Experience writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automation and system efficiency.
· Experience with SMTP gateways/routing, DNS, TCP/IP, Modern Authentication, Active Directory user and group management, group policy.
· Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Experience troubleshooting system performance issues.
· Experience writing best practiced and SOP documentation.
· Expertise in Agile development approaches including Scrum and Kanban.
· Clearance : Active Top Secret, ability to obtain SCI and Public Trust
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· MS certifications (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Security Administrator, Enterprise Administrator, Security Administrator).
· Experience with NIST compliance frameworks and AWS GovCloud / Microsoft Azure GCC-High environments.
